MTMOT

Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective: 1 October 2026

This policy is written for members in the United States, as required by Washington’s My Health My Data Act, Nevada’s consumer health data law and Connecticut’s consumer health data provisions. It applies to anyone whose consumer health data MTMOT collects, wherever they live. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

The consumer health data we collect

Only the Rebuilding app collects consumer health data. It collects:

  • daily check-ins: mood, energy, focus, sleep, pain and work capacity, and any notes you add;
  • return-to-work readiness assessments and the readiness score and summary generated from them;
  • journal entries and goals you write in Rebuilding;
  • what you tell CJ, our AI companion, in Rebuilding, including replies to CJ’s check-in emails.

We do not collect medications, side effects, appointments, diagnoses, notes for your doctor, precise location or biometric data. Rebuilding’s companion Notion template lives in your own Notion workspace; MTMOT cannot see it and does not collect anything you put in it.

Where it comes from

From you, directly: what you enter in Rebuilding, what you tell CJ, and, if you choose to import it, the daily check-in export from your own template. We do not buy or receive health data about you from anyone else.

Why we collect it and how we use it

Only to provide Rebuilding: to show you your patterns over time, to run your readiness assessment, to let CJ reply to you, and to write the summaries you ask for. We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never use it to train AI models.

Your consent

Before Rebuilding collects anything, we ask for two separate consents: one to collect and store your consumer health data, and one to share the entries CJ needs with the AI providers named below. You can withdraw either at any time by emailing [email protected].

Who we share it with

We share consumer health data only with processors that act on our instructions under binding data processing terms, and only to provide Rebuilding:

  • Supabase, which stores it in Sydney, Australia;
  • Anthropic and Google, which generate CJ’s replies and summaries;
  • Postmark and Railway, which carry CJ’s check-in emails and your replies.

We do not share it with anyone else, and we do not sell it. We would disclose it only if the law required us to, and we would tell you unless the law forbade it.

Your rights

  • Confirm and access: ask whether we hold your consumer health data, get a copy of it, and get a list of every processor it has been shared with.
  • Delete: ask us to delete it. We delete it from our systems and instruct our processors to delete it too.
  • Withdraw consent to collection, sharing, or both.

Email [email protected] from the address on your account. We respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal; you can appeal by replying to our response, and we answer appeals within 45 days. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact your state attorney general.
